Basic Income : Good or Bad ?

Basic income is like an insurance that our society provides to the unemployed .The unconditional basic income brings the deserved attention to the wave of unemployment ,given the emerging momentum of AI. But that is far from wining a solid future for the off-work workers.

Within the decades,robots will replace nearly half of all American jobs ,according to an Oxford University study. The situation is not optimistic in other countries .Outside of silicon valley ,discussion of BI has spread around the world .In Switzerland ,Finland ,France, the Netherlands,Canada and other countries ,the basic income policy has been implemented or has been cited as a platform for elections ,and promises to be the national policy.But I am afraid that is not the solution.Because most of the unemployed workers do not occupy the positions with  advanced technology or networks, nor are they forward-looking enough to meet the challenges of artificial intelligence .While they can find a job with the windfall ,it is way possible for you to get laid off in a short time or to be replaced again .Only when finding a comprehensive system ,more than how to allocate the capitals,we are capable of applying the innovation of AI to achieve the new Renaissance of creativity.

Over the past 500 years the number of languages spoken in the world has halved ,and the number is expected to half again by the end of the current century . These figures are deeply alarming for many who fear that huge portions of human culture will soon be lost forever. University should accept equal numbers of male and female study in every subject or not .
